Still hiding out elsewhere.

Does it make me a bad person if I only use LiveJournal for fic-reading? I'll have to accept that, I suppose. I've recently added to my obsessions. I'm a Sam/Dean girl through and through, but I've begun reading NCIS fic lately. What is it about Gibbs and Tony that makes me want to read the pr0n? Hmmm.

So, my thoughts are mostly dying on my FaceBook page. I'm spending more time there than anywhere else....my poor lonely livejournal, overthrown by facebook...i'm so ashamed!

If anyone cares, I can be found there...as, always, jaiclaire.

I'm not posing to my livejournal very often. I must admit I use it mostly to keep track of my favourite fan fiction sites and writers. Maybe I'll post more to my .mac pages, but I'm probably fooling myself about that, too.

Oh! read some yummy stuff off of hdcomplete (http://community.livejournal.com/hd_complete/profile since I can't seem to make the link correctly). Anyone looking to kill valuable time should stop reading this drek and run there now. Seriously...why are you still reading this...

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

Oh! I'm really annoyed! Lunch rolls around and the freaks in the office go get some takeout and don't even bother to ask me if I want anything! I can't walk out the door to potty without one of them asking me if I'll get them something and they don't even bother to see if I want anything. Grr! Now I'm starving and too busy to go get any lunch. They're all off my list...or on my list...there's a list involved somehow.

so, this witch went to church

I've been going to church with my mother. It's not really religious for her, it's social. She likes the singing. She's got me going to Sunday School...which is really a discussion class. I like the arguing. We're reading "The Creed" by Luke Timothy Johnson (I wonder if that's his real name...if so, did his parents have high hopes for the priesthood?).

More on that later...I'm a chapter behind and will have nothing about which to be irate if I don't catch up!

Sadly, my old journal has died a horrible, untimely death (details to remain unstated in order to protect the guilty).

My collection of fic recs...gone.
My assorted essays on evolution....lost.
My mind....missing in action.
